Terms & Conditions for Crown Block Dallas
Last Updated: July 23, 2025

Welcome to the Crown Block website, located at crownblockdallas.com (the “Site”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Site and its services. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may browse event listings, view amenities, make reservations, and sign up for our newsletter. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage or impair it or interfere with others’ use.
  2. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is owned by Crown Block or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. “Crown Block” and its logos may not be used without our permission.
  3. Reservations
We use the OpenTable reservation system, a third-party service. When you make a booking, you’ll be redirected to OpenTable and subject to their terms of service and privacy policy. We may share basic marketing data (such as UTM parameters) with OpenTable to track reservation sources. We are not responsible for OpenTable’s services or policies. For our cancellation policy, see your OpenTable confirmation or our Reservations page.
  4. Privacy and Personal Information
We collect only the information you provide voluntarily, such as your name and email for our newsletter. By subscribing, you consent to receive marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time via the “unsubscribe” link. We retain your information only as long as needed to send newsletters or comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your email address.
  5. Tracking Technologies: LocalStorage vs. Google Tag Manager
Crown Block uses a localStorage-based system to store marketing attribution data (UTM parameters) when you arrive via a parameterized URL. This data is:
    • Local to your browser only and never shared with our servers except through the initial URL request (which may be logged)
    • Used solely to carry attribution info when you navigate from our Site to OpenTable for reservations

In addition, our Site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to deploy various Google tags—such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other measurement or advertising tools. These Google tags may use cookies and other identifiers to collect information about how you interact with our Site and across the web. This data helps us understand website performance and measure advertising effectiveness.

Key points about Google tags and cookies:
• Google tags are managed via GTM; Crown Block does not directly access or store your Google cookie data.
• Google cookies may track pages you visit on our Site and elsewhere, and may link that activity to your Google account if you’re signed in.
• Crown Block does not control Google’s data collection practices. Google’s privacy policy explains how Google collects, uses, and shares data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can manage or opt out of Google’s cookie-based tracking by:
• Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies (see your browser’s help pages)
• Visiting Google’s Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com to manage ad personalization
• Using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Enabling your browser’s “Do Not Track” feature (though not all tags may honor it)

  1. Limitation of Liability
THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING THE TEXAS DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES–CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (DTPA). CROWN BLOCK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. THIS EXCLUSION DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR DTPA VIOLATIONS.
  2. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any legal action will be filed only in state or federal court in Dallas County, Texas.
  3. Dispute Resolution & Age
Dispute Resolution: You and Crown Block may agree to resolve disputes by mediation before going to court, but mediation is optional.
Age: By using this Site, you represent you are at least 13 years old. If under 13, you may use the Site only with a parent or guardian’s consent.
  4. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
